Long drawn-out decisions of deciding on a costume, the preparation of getting ready for the evening, the hours of decorating and pumpkin carving, and even the fall festival no longer define Halloween for us.  It’s a weird feeling.  In some aspects, it’s nice not having the stress of having to get the girls fed and dressed in their costumes in record time in order not to miss a second of Halloween.  In other aspects, it means they are growing up. 

Growing up means animal onesies….

Trick or treating on their own, no parents in tow…

And a quick trip to the pumpkin patch to pick out an array of pumpkins and squash.

Meanwhile, competing for the most amount of candy and then trading it, never gets old!
