As Justin and I ate dinner last weekend, I looked over at him and said, “when did this happen.”  At the kitchen table was not only me and him, but also our three little girls and our two “teenagers” a.ka. our au pairs who take care of our three girls while Justin and I work.  We truly consider them family.  I said to him, “seriously, just four years ago it was him and me (okay so I did have two babies in my belly and I was nearing bed rest so I probably wasn’t doing the cooking but we were still eating dinner together at our dining room table just the “two” of us).  And here we were now just four years later and we are a family of seven.”   Even though we are in transition and have an overlap in au pairs and will only have one living with us soon, we are an extended family of 7!  I never envisioned myself as having a big family, but I think it looks good on us:)
