Season"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Competition season has begun.&nbsp;&nbsp;Avery\u2019s much anticipated first two back-to-back dance competitions yielded some amazing results:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Platinum \u2013 Solo Friday night, convention Saturday morning and early afternoon, 3 group dances Saturday evening, and convention Sunday morning and early afternoon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;\u201cHold On\u201d, Avery\u2019s solo adjudicated High Gold<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;All three group dances adjudicated Platinum<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Cuppett received the \u201cStudio of Excellence Award\u201d award<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Avery was recognized in convention for always having a positive attitude, smile, and always giving 110%, actively participating, being up front, etc. and was given a $300 scholarship to Brant Lake Dance Camp in NY.&nbsp;&nbsp;To say she was elated is an understatement\u2026she had been wanting to get some type of convention award for hard work.&nbsp;&nbsp;I\u2019m so proud of her, especially considering her head was bothering her and she pushed through<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Groove \u2013 Three group dances Saturday morning, followed by a long afternoon break and Avery\u2019s solo performance in the evening.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;\u201cHold On\u201d, Avery\u2019s solo adjudicated Diamond and received 1<sup>st<\/sup>&nbsp;place<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;All three group dances adjudicated Diamond and \u201cMambo\u201d received 1<sup>st<\/sup>&nbsp;place, and Landslide received 3<sup>rd<\/sup>&nbsp;place.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Cuppett Platinum, Harper had:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>3 basketball games (semi-final, final, and All-Star Game)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 soccer games (a tournament)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Her team won the soccer tournament and her basketball team won the championship game.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;While her team lost the All-Star Game, Harper scored four points with two lesson with Ian<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Victory practice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Emerson did have a softball tournament the following weekend, the first one of the season.
