The first day snuck up on us.  Eight weeks of summer wasn\u2019t long enough.  We all could have used one or two more weeks of summer, especially mom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Avery and Emerson did great waking up to their alarm and making their own breakfast.  Mom was on the struggle bus.  Bus rolled up at 6:42, a few minutes late!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harper too woke up to her alarm, showered, and was excited to be a 6th<\/sup> grader.  Two sets of pictures as the planned first day of school outfit could have easily turned into a wardrobe malfunction. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The annual bus stop breakfast didn\u2019t disappoint.  Pretty sure the ratio of food to what is actually eaten is 10:1.  Harper confidently rocked the last seat of the bus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Afternoon Update:  Avery was quite talkative and had a good day.  Emerson is already counting down the days until summer.  Harper had a great day and is excited about the flexibility seating including the yoga balls.  Mom got dressed, did her hair, and is feeling good about day two!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
