From babies to toddlers to kids to tweens to teens. These two are somehow 13.  Thirteen years of being their mom, 13 years of loving them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The worst part about being a twin they say is sharing a birthday.  I get it\u2026.not having the entire day to yourself and having to make joint decisions on how to celebrate.  An extended birthday celebration is a must, especially when your shared birthday is on a weekend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They each opened a few of their presents Saturday. Emerson picked up her apple pie from Pie Gourmet \u2013 size large of course!  I made an ice cream cake, with Harper\u2019s assistance, for Avery since Ben and Jerry\u2019s couldn\u2019t make her request on time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunday, their actual birthday, started with a pancake breakfast and sausage.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mini-golfing at Oakmont with the boys was next. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Some present opening followed by lunch at home catered by The Italian Gourmet.  Papa, Grandma, and Becca joined. Emerson had her lasagna!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The selection of desserts was scrumptious.  Emerson had her apple pie.  Avery had her ice-cream cake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A late afternoon swim followed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The day was capped off with Social Burger take-out. Avery had her burger!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A fun family day celebrating these two TEENAGERS!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
