{"id":8057,"date":"2022-02-20T13:53:57","date_gmt":"2022-02-20T18:53:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/themaddlife.com\/?p=8057"},"modified":"2022-02-20T13:53:57","modified_gmt":"2022-02-20T18:53:57","slug":"funny-things-the-girls-say","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/themaddlife.com\/?p=8057","title":{"rendered":"Funny things the girls say"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Back in 2015, I decided I wanted to write down funny things the girls said because I knew they would likely outgrow them with experience and age.&nbsp;&nbsp;I started out strong and then forgot about doing such, remembering occasionally during a year to completely forgetting almost four years ago and recently stumbled upon what I had written.&nbsp;&nbsp;So here are some of the funny things the girls said in their earlier years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Avery in response to me saying Grandma Adele was old:<ul><li>Avery: She isn\u2019t old, she just uses a cane. \u2013 Fall 2015<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Harper in response to Justin peeing with her nearby in the bathroom.<ul><li>Harper: Daddy, what are you squeezing? \u2013 Fall 2015<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Avery in response to putting on a winter hat. \u2013 December 2015<ul><li>Avery: This hat SUCKS <\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Emerson asked if Justin could mail a hand drawn picture to baby God for his birthday &#8211; December 2015<\/li><li>Emerson in response to hearing something she doesn\u2019t want.<ul><li>Emerson: FINE, fine, fine, fine (with the tone of a 15 year old girl). \u2013 Jan 2016<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Emerson in response to not wanting to clean up the playroom \u2013 1\/2\/16<ul><li>Emerson: It gives me allergies to clean up.\u00a0\u00a0For real.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Avery told Justin to stop yawning while reading books in bed because its so rude -Feb 2016<\/li><li>Avery and Harper: \u201cOkay, Mommy Madusa\u201d \u2013 repeatedly Summer\/Fall 2016<\/li><li>On Mother&#8217;s Day, Avery shared that Mommys are smarter than Daddy&#8217;s &#8211; May 2016<\/li><li>All the Girls \u2013 This entire past year to present (August 2016) \u2013 Whausay?\u00a0\u00a0Instead of \u201cWhat did you say\u201d\u2026they say it real fast\u2026.reminds me of\u00a0\u00a0\u201cWhat you talking about Willis\u201d<\/li><li>Avery in response to what I should do with the Thank You card that Ms. Duffett gave her for the Holiday Gift Card Avery gave her.\u00a0\u00a0\u201cMom, can you put this in my baby book.\u00a0\u00a0I might want to read it when I\u2019m in high school.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0&#8211; Dec 2016<\/li><li>Harper \u2013 All the time in December 2016 \u2013 \u201cWhat the hecker?\u201d \u2013 in terms of what the heck?<\/li><li>Harper when I was taking her to the bathroom at our neighbors The Fosters and she saw there was a window in the bathroom.\u00a0\u00a0Harper: \u201cWhat is that!\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Me: \u201cA window\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0Harper: \u201cA window in the bathroom!\u00a0\u00a0What the hecka?\u00a0\u00a0That\u2019s WEIRD!\u201d<\/li><li>Emerson and Avery having a heated discussion \u2013 they were trying to resolve a situation on their own\u2026Emerson was quite frustrated talking with her hands and Avery was fairly calm.\u00a0\u00a0They were both sitting looking each other in the eye when they spoke.\u00a0\u00a0Emerson was getting frustrated and said \u201cWe have a problem, we need to solve this Avery!\u201d \u2013 Jan 2017<\/li><li>Avery \u2013 in general says \u201cseriously\u201d, \u201cfor example\u201d, and \u201cliterally\u201d when having conversations \u2013 Feb 2017<\/li><li>Emerson upon me bending over without a shirt on\u2026\u201dwhy is your belly so wrinkly\u2026ballerinas don\u2019t have wrinkly bellies.\u201d My response\u2026well I don\u2019t know\u2026it just is.\u00a0\u00a0A Ballerina?\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Emerson said, \u201cyeah, you were a ballerina when you were a kid\u201d. \u2013 March 2017<\/li><li>Avery made me a painting.\u00a0\u00a0I asked her what she used.\u00a0\u00a0She said \u201coil pistachios\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0Justin said you mean \u201coil pastels?\u201d to which she replied, yes \u2013 March 2017<\/li><li>\u201cFor real\u201d or \u201cfor real life\u201d \u2013 all three girls when they are trying to prove a point that something is true. \u2013 May 2017<\/li><li>After visiting Grandma Brenda at the cemetery and asking about everyone that was buried there, Avery said &#8220;Man, it&#8217;s going to be crowded in heaven by the time I get there.  Later, in the car ride home she asked if we knew what night we would die.
