The girls turn 18 months on Monday!\u00a0 I can\u2019t believe it.\u00a0 They are turning into little young ladies.\u00a0 The past few weeks Emerson\u2019 vocabulary has really increased.\u00a0 She tries to repeat words now, doesn\u2019t always quite get it but she is trying. Her cutest is \u201call done\u201d\u2026.I have got to get a video of her saying it because it seriously is the cutest thing ever.\u00a0 She also has learned a lot more body parts recently including knees and shoulders.\u00a0 She loves the Learning Puppy and when he sings the song \u201cHead, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes\u201d, she imitates accordingly.\u00a0 Avery isn\u2019t quite as far along as Emerson in her vocabulary.\u00a0 She understands so I am not that concerned about it, yet at the same time I wish she would get the show on the road a little bit.\u00a0 She consistently says \u201cup\u201d when she wants to go up but other than that she doesn\u2019t really say a whole lot of other words with meaning.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

One awesome thing to report is that this past weekend, the girls had the most independent play they have had to date.\u00a0 We seriously sat on the couch and watched them\u2026I swear it must have been at least 20 minutes were they were able to entertain themselves.\u00a0 It\u2019s fun to see the things they come up with.\u00a0 For example, they like to push their big comfy chairs to the middle of the room, turn them upside down and make a fort where they can hide out and read their books.\u00a0 They also like to take all the containers out of the cupboard but now they like to put a container on each chair and then fill each container with their cheerios or whatever other snack they have that afternoon.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

I\u2019m just so amazed at these little people they are becoming.\u00a0 I know I am biased but they really are just wonderful!!<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
