Harper went from saying a few words to literally saying everything overnight.\u00a0 It\u2019s crazy\u2026..she knows what everything is\u2026.it is just so amazing to me because it isn\u2019t like she learned all those words overnight and then said them the next day upon learning them.\u00a0 But her little mind had been storing all that information and finally one day she just decided, I\u2019m going to blurt out everything now.\u00a0 She has even started to put two words together sometimes\u2026often the word \u201cmine\u201d is one of those words.\u00a0 She is still the happiest, cutest, smartest, funniest little girl and we all adore here.\"\"<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

Today I took all three girls to the ophthalmologist by myself.\u00a0 I was a little nervous about it, but they were angels.\u00a0 Emerson and Avery both had appointments and Harper came along for the ride.\u00a0 Avery and Emerson took turns sitting on my lap when it was their turn to be examined.\u00a0 When it wasn\u2019t their turn to be examined, Avery and Emerson both sat with Harper\u2026holding her hand, giving her a boost, asking her if she needed anything.\u00a0 They are both so great with her\u2026they are constantly making my heart smile.<\/em><\/p>\n

On the way to the ophthalmologist, I was having a conversation with the girls and I asked Avery and Emerson if they knew what a twin was.\u00a0 Emerson responded \u201cyes\u201d.\u00a0 I asked her what it meant to be a twin.\u00a0 She said \u201cto be happy\u201d.\u00a0 How awesome is that.\u00a0 I posed the question to Avery and Emerson because I\u2019m not convinced that they know that they are twins and after my conversation with each them, I\u2019m still not convinced.\u00a0 I think the fact that they have a younger sister who is so close in age they tend to focus on the fact that they have two sisters.\u00a0 We generally do not refer to them as the twins, although we certainly do not intentionally not use the word twins.\u00a0 I really think they define themselves already more as individuals with two sisters.\u00a0 My girls fascinate me and I hope this fascination and admiration for my girls always is a defining factor of me.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
