Absolute An0nymity
The girls are constantly making me smile.\u00a0 Avery and Emerson are becoming so independent\u2026at least when they want to be.\u00a0 Emerson now gets dressed by herself most the time.\u00a0 She continually says \u201cI\u2019m a big girl\u201d\u2026.she also says those same words when it comes to provide her rationale as to why she doesn\u2019t need to nap anymore.\u00a0 She likes to race Avery sometimes especially when it comes to getting dressed or putting on pajamas.\u00a0 She happily exclaims \u201cI am the winnest.\u201d\u00a0 Avery uses that same phrase when she is the \u201cwinnest\u201d too!\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

We finally took the plunge and bought the Honda Odessey last weekend.\u00a0 Justin and I brought all three the girls to the dealership.\u00a0 We joked that the salesman would scatter when they saw us walk in.\u00a0 Overall the girls were pretty well behaved.\u00a0 I did end up caving into the girls request and buying the older girls Skittles from the vending machine that they shared and I somehow managed to make last several hours. We visited the bathroom a few times while we were at the dealership.\u00a0 The first time we went Justin was taking a test drive so I had to take all three of them.\u00a0 While I wasn\u2019t looking forward to the experience, it actually went fine.\u00a0 After the second time in the bathroom, Avery and Emerson insisted on going on their own.\u00a0 They wanted me to even lock the bathroom stall for them. \u00a0I peaked in as they were each using a different stall at the same time\u2026.which is glory in itself as that already cuts the time in public restrooms in half!\u00a0 Anyway, all on her own, Emerson managed to cover every part of the potty seat!\u00a0 This SO fits her personality!<\/em><\/p>\n

Avery covered the sides of the potty seat but was so vigorous jumping on the potty that she knocked the toilet paper off when she sat on the potty, not even realizing it and holding herself up by holding until the bare potty seat.\u00a0 But at least she used her foot to flush the potty!\u00a0 This SO fits her personality!<\/em><\/p>\n

Avery can be just as independent but she doesn\u2019t thrive on it like Emerson does.\u00a0 Emerson loves to be the helper and the little Mommy to Harper as well.\u00a0 Emerson is constantly saying \u201cI can do it, I can do it\u201d and constantly trying to hold, hug, and guide Harper.\u00a0 It melts my heart.\u00a0 Avery on the other hand (also adores Harper) but she loves to play the role of the baby.\u00a0 She constantly says \u201cI\u2019m baby Harper\u201d or \u201cI\u2019m baby Quinn\u201d.\u00a0 Avery knows how to dress herself but often demands she be dressed by somebody.\u00a0 The same goes for going potty at home.\u00a0 She is quite capable of wiping her pee pee but she claims that \u201cI am the best tucas wiper\u201d.\u00a0 \u00a0Avery is sugar and spice\u2026she\u2019ll wine and demand and then turn to me as she frequently does and say \u201cYou are the best Mommy\u201d or \u201cMommy, I love you so much.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Harper meanwhile thinks that she is just as old as Avery and Emerson and wants to and attempts to do much of the same things that Avery and Emerson are doing. She thinks she is funny (okay, she isJ) and her feelings get hurt easily when she isn\u2019t able to participate in the same things as her older sisters.<\/em><\/p>\n

Justin went out tonight for some much needed guy time shortly before the girl\u2019s bedtime.\u00a0 The three girls and I were all playing this random game I made up having to do with \u201ceeiniemeeniemineymo\u201d that also involved jumping jacks.\u00a0 It was a blast\u2026we were taking turns, laughing, and truly enjoying the company of one another.\u00a0 These three little ladies who are becoming more and more independent and it is so wonderful and amazing!<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
