{"id":102,"date":"2012-10-16T18:48:47","date_gmt":"2012-10-16T22:48:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/themaddlife.com\/?p=102"},"modified":"2021-10-17T20:46:18","modified_gmt":"2021-10-18T00:46:18","slug":"avery-is-walking","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/themaddlife.com\/?p=102","title":{"rendered":"Avery is Walking!"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote>\n<div lang=\"EN-US\">\n<div>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium;\">I think it is fair to say that Avery is a walker now.\u00a0 She still crawls some but usually if there are no walls around her whatsoever.\u00a0 She is walking unassisted more and more, still wobbly, but every day there is improvement in balance and distance.\u00a0 She is very determined to walk and she continually gets back up and does it again after she falls.\u00a0 Watching her determination brings such joy to my face.\u00a0 Avery has been using the walker some too in learning to walk.\u00a0 She\u2019ll go get it from the other room and she even can maneuver it pretty good now.\u00a0 If she runs into a wall, she\u2019ll just turn herself around until the path is open again.\u00a0 She doesn\u2019t get frustrated one bit. Emerson used the walker some when we first got it in the summer but since then it pretty much sat in the corner until Avery started using it recently.\u00a0 Well, Emerson has recently started to become a little jealous of Avery and has all of a sudden found a recent interest in the walker.\u00a0 She too now likes to use it.
